This is a review packet on all present tense verb types. There are 5 sections. Students will conjugate the verbs for all 6 persons and then answer personal questions using those verbs.
Students will conjugate a total of 30 verbs and answer 30 personal questions.
Answer key is included for the verb conjugations only. For personal questions, student answers will vary.
Pages 1-6 are the practices and pages 7- 8 are the answer key for the verb conjugations only.

READING: EL DÍA ESCOLAR (present tense)
Read about Luisa’s school day as she talks about her classes. Then, answer the comprehension questions in a complete sentence in Spanish.
There are 12 comprehension questions in the present tense. Tener que + infinitive is also used in the reading. Answer key is included.
A second activity is also included where students can read about Luisa’s classes and write 2 information questions for each class and interview a classmate. Students will write a total of 12 information questions.
This reading is ideal for Spanish 2 to do during the first few weeks of school.

Use a different subject (person) in every sentence (column A)
Choose the correct conjugation of ir (column B)
Write “a” after each conjugation of ir.
Choose one infinitive (-AR, -ER, -IR) per sentence from column D.
Add 3-4 words after the infinitive to expand on the sentence. Make sure that your sentence makes sense.

This is a worksheet to practice the conjugations of spelling change verbs in the present subjunctive
Verb types included: -car, -gar, -zar, vowel + cer, consonant + cer, -ger, -gir, -uir, -ucir
Part 1: Conjugate each verb and make spelling changes where needed. Some verbs will also require a stem change in addition to a spelling change.

Stem change verbs introduction practice
This worksheet can be used to practice the stem changes with stem change verbs as students are introduced to the topic.
Part 1: Complete the blanks with the correct stem change (e-ie, o-ue, e-i) and the correct verb ending. There is no stem change for nosotros and vosotros conjugations.
Part 2: Using any 6 verbs in part 1, write 6 original sentences using the guidelines below.

Write a minimum 8 word sentence. Post the word count at the end of the sentence.
